Founded in 2013, Blue Sea Capital seeks investments in growth-oriented lower middle market companies valued up to $200 million. Based in West Palm Beach, Fla., the firm invests in healthcare, in addition to a few other industries. Healthcare portfolio investments include Apex Physics Partners, a medical physics services platform providing testing, inspection and certification services to hospitals, imaging centers and provider locations; SignatureMD, a provider of support services to concierge medicine physicians; Deca Dental, a de novo-oriented dental services organization with offices across Texas and Florida; MD Now, an urgent care platform in Florida with locations across multiple MSAs; Spectrum Vision Partners, a management services organization serving the ophthalmology sector in the northeastern Tri-State region; and DDS Lab, a dental laboratory manufacturing custom dental prosthetic appliances for dental service organizations and sole practitioner dentists.
